1993 Volvo 940: A Bronx Volvo
This was the first street parked Swedish car I found during my time in New York. While I did find the gold 240 and the white P1800 ES in that vacant lot, I don't count them as a true street parked find. This, I do. I found this on Ellwood St. in the Bronx, located pretty close to the Hudson River.
As you can see, this Volvo has dealer plates on it, and as I was photographing it, two people came up to me and asked if I was interested in buying it. I told them it was a nice car, but I respectfully declined. They went on to butter the car up, but I kept on declining the offer. If I had the cash and the space at the time, I would've considered it. It certainly looks like a nice car, but I'll let someone who has those resources available take it!
