A Vintage Volvo Photo from Sam

A picture is worth a thousand words, and here is your chance to see a pristine 240 back when it was probably factory fresh. This looks to be a 1980 244, as the front fascia appears to be the quad headlight design from 1977 to 1980. 1980 saw the introduction of black plastic mirrors from the original chrome mirrors of the previous 240s. 

Sam said he doesn't know much about the photo, except that it was taken on his grandparent's street sometime during the 1980s. It was not their car, although he said his family did own a 240 at one point. It makes you wonder what the story of this car is.
