More Old Volvos in Kingston - Spring 2022

This isn't a huge entry, but I think the content embodies the phrase "Quality over quantity." While there are only two cars here, I think you'll enjoy them.

April 18, 2022: 1985 Volvo 245 DL Estate

This classic 245 was spotted on Route 4 on my way down to campus one morning. While early '80s Volvos are pretty uncommon to see, a wagon is even more rare. This is one beautiful 240, and has been remarkably kept up. While I do wish I got more photos of this car, I know this car hangs around close to campus, so I'll try and get more for you soon!

May 5, 2022: 1996 Volvo 850 Sedan

This battered Volvo was spotted at Kingston Station. For the warmer months of the Spring semester, I brought my bike down to campus to ride the South County Bike Path that travels behind campus, leading to Narragansett and Kingston Station. Anyways, back to the Volvo. This 850 has seen better days, but I really love the blue paint. It's a very uncommon color, and I don't think I've ever seen an 850 in this color. The color is known as Turquoise Pearl, according to the Volvo color charts from '96. I hope the owner fixes the front end someday.
