1993 Saab 900 Turbo Combi Coupe

Our first ever Swedish car post, and what better way to start off than with a 900 Turbo!

This is a gorgeous 1993 900 Turbo hatchback that I spotted back in 2020 on a bike ride. Easily one of the nicest 900s I've come across, I would come to meet its owner, Jake, a few years later, when I published my other blog, Old New England Cars, on Instagram. He's another Swedish car enthusiast, and has a collection of several cars, including a 1968 Volvo 122S and a 1987 740 GLE. 

At the time of this photograph, taken back in July of 2020, he had a 1986 900 S, which you can just about see in the background behind the fence. That car would later appear on Craigslist, and I almost bought it! The car was asking around $1200, and I still kick myself for not jumping on it. A few years later, I was riding my bike around another local neighborhood, and I'm pretty sure I found the same '86 900 in that neighborhood, although I can't be exact it was the same car!
